I’m 18 years old and I’m hoping to go up to Jiminy Peak with some friends by ourselves. I have my own equipment but two people don’t, both 17.

Am I allowed to rent for them? How would a deposit work? Can I use cash?

If you’re a beginner snowboarder, is it better to buy a cheap snowboard?

I’ve only snowboarded for about 3 days on a rental snowboard, but I’m really into it. However, I’m not sure about whether I should invest in a high-quality/expensive snowboard when I’m only a beginner. Should I just start off on a cheap one and buy a better one when I’ve become better at snowboarding?
