Where is a good place to get a really good sale on a snowboard? When is best time of year to get best sale on snowboard(I’m guessing april,may,june?). and What brand?
Im 13, 5”, 100 lbs and 8 size boot.
Im wondering if a 148 would be good cuz it would be a bit long now, but for next few years it would be a good size.
I’m intermediate-expert and i want one that would be good for carving and all mountain, and that can handle a terrain park.

I wear glasses but i snowboard, what should i do?
Thursday, December 1st, 2011Alright, i snowboard every week and i have glasses. I cant see anything clearly without my glasses. i need to get goggles soon, and i have three options. I could find goggles that fit over my glasses, but the sales person at my local skateshop said they were difficult to find. I could buy contacts and get regular goggles, or i could get prescription goggles, which the sales person said were very expensive. which would be the best choice?

Expert advice please: Is my snowboard too long?
Thursday, November 17th, 2011So here’s the deal. Last week I picked up a snowboard on sale. Its a K2 Podium 159. The other size options were a 156, and a 162. I’m basically a beginner, although i have some experience. My riding style is mostly groomers, cruising, and some fast carving. I am 6′0″ and 145 lbs. I got the 159 because i thought the extra stiffness would be good for carving, but then I found out that i could have a much harder time doing turns. A friend of mine told me it will be sluggish and real hard to maneuver because i’m so light. So, is this too big of a board for me? Should I have gotten the 156? I’m starting to kick myself.
