Ummmmm….it also kind of depends what kind of bindings you’re using. Burton cartels for example have a strap that goes over the end of your tow rather than over the top. Flux bindings are almost always designed to have the highback release so you can but your foot in from behind. There are also bindings where you simply step into them, (customized boots of course. Snap-on bindings)

those aren’t Union Force bindings are they? Rome SDS ? K2? Burton? Morrow? forum? Flow? Flux? Tech nine? can’t tell.

no. it has to be flushed with the board. or else your boots can catch something while goin down
but not to solid, because then your feets and toes get not enough O2
you may have to buy some elevator plates if your toes drag
