Good boots/bindings combo? Opinions please.?

I’m getting a Rome Vinyl board and planning on these…

Bindings:

I’m a girl and I’m pretty positive the bindings will fit the boot (size 7.5). Can someone confirm this for me?

Don’t tell me I should ‘try on the boots’ I already know that and I would if I lived near a good shop. Alas, I don’t.

So yay or nay?
Yeah I heard about BOA, but they are also more bothersome to repair if the thing breaks :P . So I’m sticking with laces -shrug-

And I’m actually a shoe size 8, so I was going for half a size lower because I’m going to wear them in, ya know?

Opinions on my first car?

Wellll, i’ve been browsing around for cars, and my parents are going to double the amount of money i have. I have a little over three thousand dollars, so they’d contribute about 5,000. So, i have a few cars in mind. I was going to get my dad’s 04 Gmc Sierra SLT, but he is selling it. So for my first car, i really need 4wd or Awd and preferably a wagon or truck. The cars i’ve been extremely interested in are:

00-04′ Volvo XC70 Cross Country Wagon
GMC Chevy Trucks.
and just 4×4 ford rangers, older ones.

4×4 is not essential, but most surely preferred for snowboard trips.
i really love the volvos and know they are great cars. (Test driven one!)
i see seniors and other juniors at school driving late 80’s early 90’s toyotas and hondas,
are those decent?

comments, suggestions? insurance? volvo?
