Okay, I’m thinking if I should buy this snowboard that’s on sale from 420.00 to 120.00. I know it’s a really good deal, plus it’s rated well, but i don’t know if it’s a good brand. Also, i might not go snowboarding a lot this season because of a recent knee injury from soccer, and i was wondering if there will be a good sale with more brands and boards once the season is over.

Lauren’s 2nd halfpipe run at USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain, CO 2010 resulted in a crash as she went higher and faster than she was prepared for. See her catch an edge on the right hand wall and go down in this snowboard accident, landing hard on her hip and tailbone, but able to walk away from the snowboard crash because she was wearing Azzpadz Tailbone Protector along with her Flexmeter Snowboard Wrist Guards. Both available at www.Flexmeters.com. Thanks also to Turbine Boardwear for the hot jacket and pants, Flow Bindings, and Launch Snowboards.

I picked an old snowboard up from a garage sale for $10. It is just the board so even if it is unride-able $10 is not that much. It is a burton snowboard that has a woodcore. The metal edges are somewhat rusted. Also there are a few deep scratches on the bottom but no wood is showing. I was wondering if I could sharpen the edges to remove the rust and fix the scratches with a p-tex candle. Please let me know! Thanks in advance!!
