Where can I buy a quality/good snowboard for a cheap-ish price?

i’m an intermediate snowboarder who wants to start jumps, ramps, and tricks. i know some stores have major sales in the fall, but i don’t know which or when. is it better buying online? any recommendations?

I ordered a Rossignol Sultan Wide 159 snowboard from dj’s board shop through ebay.com and it arrived today. I opeaned it up to find a snowboard with a big “155″ written on the back. This must mean this is a 155 and not a 159 snowboard. I was sent the wrong size. Has anyone else had a similar problem and how did you fix it?

I am 5′ 11″ wear a size 9 UK snowboard boot and I weigh around 15 stone (about 210 pounds). I learnt on a rental 154cm snowboard which I found very manageable but I don’t think this would be the size for me to buy and was thinking 157 or 158cm? I don’t want to go any bigger than necessary but don’t want it to be too small either.

Can you take a snowboard onto a plane?

I am getting a snowboard and I am getting a bag for it, but I need to take the snowboard on a plane to Colorado. I was wondering if you have to check the snowboard in or can you just take it straight onto the plane with you? Thanks.
