Which car should I rent Dodge Caliber or Chevy HHR (pt cruiser)? has to fit 4 people, 4 snowboard, & bags?

We are planning to go snowboarding next weekend with a rental car. Which car would be better for 4people, 4 snowboard and bags (boots, clothes, food and more)?

The HHR has more cargo room than the Caliber, so unless you want a really tight squeeze, I’d go with the HHR to fit the boards and bags in the cargo area without any problems. The caliber is just too small, and more car-like while the HHR is more small-SUV.
I agree that the HHR will have more cargo room, Between your boards, bags and foul weather gear, if you take the Caliber, some of that stuff might end up riding inside, on your laps.
More cargo room, bigger back gate to load it, will mean easier packing and stowing
HHR all the way but I do like how the caliber looks. If you didn’t have so much stuff to bring on your trip I would be all for the caliber. It’s a cool little car.
